At the time of this printing, Josh and Raj’s space was unfinished. But what they are envisioning is a comfortable, secure space to tinker around with their BMW M3s and their winter kit car projects – and a place to just hang out and socialize. They plan on having the upstairs “done up nice” so their families can hang out and feel at home while they’re working on their cars downstairs. “But actually, the boys think it’s cool when dad works on the car and they sometimes like to watch, or even help,” says Josh.
“With only a three-car garage at home, there just wasn’t enough room for three cars and the boys’ bikes and skateboards and all that stuff. But if I tried to build an extra building on my property (if I even had room for it) it would be hard to get my money back when I sell the house, unless I happen to sell to a car collector. This investment is a little more liquid. Plus it’s just cool for a bunch of car guys to be able to hang out together,” Josh says.

In fact, Josh and Raj got a unit in the same building as the clubhouse to be closer to the action. “We’ll be hanging out in our unit most of the time,” says Raj. “But if there are people next door in the lounge, I’m sure we’ll probably join the party.”
