They have planned the Saturday night dinner stop in Niswa, MN and the hotel rooms have been booked near Brainerd. The Sunday finisher’s banquet in the Twin Cities is all set up!

Back To The 50′s World Record Attempt

Do you want to be included in Guinness Book of World Records ? – Then
participate in The Most Vintage Cars in a Continuous Drive this year at Back to
The 50s’ Weekend!

We are excited to have a new event tied to Back to the 50’s 2012. We will be attempting to set a new
World Record for the most vintage cars in a continuous drive! The current record is 949 cars and was
done in the Netherlands in 2002. We can beat this by simply having 10% participation of the cars from
Back to the 50’s attendee’s, so this very achievable; but we need your commitment and need you to
register below.

Besides simply setting the record, we will also be raising funds for MSRA Scholarship Fund with a $5
donation; for each registered car; and absolutely all of the proceeds go to the scholarship fund. We
should be able to at least generate $5000 with your help. We also plan to involve the Make A Wish
Foundation and provide a terminally ill child with a one of a kind gift. We will also be leveraging our
connections to bring in sports, political, business and artist celebrities along with sponsors to make it a
truly remarkable event. This no doubt will attract a tremendous about of media coverage.

The event will take place on the Thursday early evening prior to the start of the Back to The 50’s
weekend, on June 21st in the early evening. People need to pre-register either on the website or
through our marketing manager Marcus at 612-562-6686.

The cars need to be at the AutoMotorPlex by 6PM (Campus address: 8150 Audubon Road, Chanhassen,
55317). It’s a 40 acre campus of private garage Man Caves… there will be refreshments available while
staging, and bathrooms available in the Clubhouse. In addition, many of the garages will have their
doors open for people wanting to see a first of its kind motorsports community that is going national.
You can be back to the fairgrounds by 8pm.

Maddy’s Day At The AutoMotorPlex

Awhile back Maddy’s father placed a Craigslist ad looking for someone that could provide his autistic daughter the gift of a ride in her dream car, a Lamborghini. As luck would have it we saw the ad and gathered our friends to make something special happen for her. This was truly a a special day for all of us.

Updated: We received the following message from Victor we wanted to share with everyone evolved in helping make Maddy’s day the amazing and memorable day it was. It would not be possible without each of your generosity to our call for help.

“About a month ago, Bruno was kind enough to allow me and a out-of- town friend to tour the facility on a non-public day. We ran into a garage owner and had a great conversation. However, Maddy’s Day is really special. Please extend my appreciation to all the car owners who participated and , of course, to Bruno.” ~ Victor
