Updated: We received the following  message from Victor we wanted to share with everyone evolved in helping make Maddy’s day the amazing and memorable day it was. It would not be possible without each of your generosity to our call for help.

“About a month ago, Bruno was kind enough to allow me and a out-of- town friend to tour the facility on a non-public day. We ran into a garage owner and had a great conversation. However, Maddy’s Day is really special. Please extend my appreciation to all the car owners who participated and , of course, to Bruno.” ~ Victor

Transparent Factory is the English name of an automobile production plant owned by German carmaker Volkswagen, designed by architect Gunter Henn, and opened in 2002. The original German name is Gläserne Manufaktur (factory made of glass, literally vitreous manufactory). Both the German and English names are a word play on the double meaning of transparent and glassy, referring to both optical transparency and transparency of the production process.

The main purpose of the factory is the assembly of Volkswagen’s luxury sedan, the Phaeton. Spare capacity was also used to construct Bentley Continental Flying Spur vehicles destined for the European market until 2006, when all work was transferred to Bentley’s plant in Crewe, England.

The show will run from 9am to 12pm. This is a public event, open to anyone who owns a Mopar new or old, classic or custom. The show is FREE to participants and spectators. Miss Car Craft 2011 will be available for photos and sign posters at her booth. Local hot rod artist Nick Sinclair will also be onsite with art and t-shirts. There will be a prize raffle for participants and spectators. If you own a Mopar, you will not want to miss this annual event

WHAT: All Mopar Show at the Automotorplex
WHERE: Automotorplex in Chanhassen
DATE: Saturday September 17th
TIME: 9am – Noon
ADMISSION: FREE – Open to the Public

TOP 21 AWARDS: Club representatives and sponsors will choose the Top 21 rides. Winners will receive custom 8×10 plaques.

DASH PLAQUES: We will have dash plaques for the first 125 cars.

PIG ROAST: There will be a Pig Roast after the show. The pig roast is open to all participants and spectators at $6 for a pulled pork sandwich, beans and a coke. That’s a good deal and we are very excited to bring some great food to our event. The pig roast is FREE to all paid members of MnChallengers and the first 50 members of Midwest Mopars that register.
