The AutoMotorPlex™ Developer is proud to announce we have reached two major milestones as of July at our Minneapolis facility project.
First, all of the existing buildings are sold out with the last building that is under construction already approximately 50% sold. We are ahead of plan with a total of 157 individual garages that currently make up the campus.
Second, in accordance with Minnesota condominium law, we have reached a point where the management of the condominium association needs to be transferred from Developer control to a Member controlled Board. The transfer to Member control took place on July 25th with the election of a new Board. In addition we have selected Gittleman Management Corporation, a leading Twin Cities property management firm to manage the AutoMotorPlex Minneapolis facility and its community association on a day-to-day basis.
With these successes, we are now going to start the final phase of the development, with the plan to add accretive commercial space located on the front 5 acres of land at the AutoMotorPlex campus. “What do you need when you have 800 vehicles located in one place”… this section of the property is ideal for an automotive repair facility, body shop, detail shop, parts store, or a display warehouse of vehicles to promote local dealerships. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right businesses looking to be part of or leverage our Brand and will be a great addition to the AutoMotorPlex community.
From the perspective of the public/non-members, don’t expect things to change too much, as the AutoMotorPlex members fully support the various events that we host and put on at the campus. This includes 1st – MN C&C and 3rd Saturday events at the AutoMotorPlex and other activities in the Twin Cities (such as this coming months’ events… Horses and HorsePower at the Polo Classic on August 12th at the Polo Fields in Maple Plain and the Royal British Car and Fashion Show on August 18th at the AutoMotorPlex)
The AutoMotorPlex Developer has been and will continue to be a permanent member of the campus and will continue to be involved from completing the remaining parts of the project… to continuing to be a driving force in promoting events that benefit the motorsports community in the Twin Cities. At the AutoMotorPlex, the vision has always been to build and cultivate a “Place to Enjoy Your Passion”.
